Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, various kinds of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming equipments.
The business began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are engineered and designed for various uses and there are available units which can cover all construction requirements.
Several models provide extremely flexible lifting options for companies who are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both really adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These types of cranes are specifically designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are found near each other.
