The operator can use a switch to be able to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature.
