Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer versatility and height. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to lift personnel is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a chain or strap is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
