End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machines have superior performance features that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications that need frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by various companies which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a way which is both safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally include a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without problems, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
